Meet J'Wanna

J'Wanna Spann, MA, LPC, LPCS, LCMHC, CCTP, Founder & Clinical Director

 

J'Wanna Spann is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Clinical Supervisor, and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional with more than 15 years of experience helping individuals navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, emotional regulation difficulties, and life transitions.

She provides telehealth counseling services for residents of North Carolina and South Carolina and is committed to creating a supportive, compassionate, and nonjudgmental environment where clients can heal, grow, and move toward meaningful change.


Professional Experience

Throughout her career, J'Wanna has worked across private practice, community mental health, Family Medicine, Women's Health, Pediatrics, integrated behavioral health, and other healthcare settings. Her experience includes supporting individuals facing complex trauma, chronic mental health concerns, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, major life transitions, and emotional wellness challenges.

In addition to direct clinical work, J'Wanna has provided supervision to graduate-level counseling interns, psychiatric nurse practitioner students, and provisionally licensed clinicians working toward independent licensure.
